James H. Platt Park

Bounded by Logan on the east, Florida on the north, Grant on the west, and Iowa on the south, the 3.7-acre park was established by the Board of Park Commissioners in 1894. Amenities include a drinking fountain, horseshoe pit, playground, picnic table, recreation center and restroom.

Fleming Mansion

The rusticated stone mansion on the corner of Florida and Grant was built in 1882 by James Fleming. It was his home and has also served as town hall for the Town of South Denver, a library and a recreation center. Today it houses the offices of several non-profit groups.
